Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2018 “Ask Me About Audiology” (AMAA) Campaign! Over thirty local SAA chapters participated nationwide, engaging with the public through events such as health fairs, air shows, community walks, and local campus events. The SAA would like to thank Oaktree Products, Inc. for their generous support in providing 6,600 earplugs for use during AMAA 2018.
Don’t take off your outreach hats just yet! The SAA Public Outreach Committee would like to invite you to start planning your chapter’s National Day at Your State Capitol (NDAYSC). Audiology needs students like you to continue cultivating advocacy skills that will benefit both the profession and your future patients. Don’t stop now– let’s keep up the great work! Have questions or need help planning? Email Public Outreach Chair, Alex Morris.
