SAA Central

SAA Central

Now that it’s officially the month of AudiologyNOW! 2014, we have some final updates and reminders for you pertaining to SAA Central, the hub for students to reconnect, relax, and discuss our favorite topic, audiology!

  • Does your chapter have a chapter t-shirt? This year the chapter t-shirt contest has been moved to SAA Central! Winners of the t-shirt challenge receive prizes, including a $100 check to the chapter with the best t-shirt. Better yet, YOU, the members of the SAA, will be voting on the winner. It’s not too late for your chapter to participate, RSVP to Ashley Foots byMarch 12th!
  • Come and meet some of the most prominent names in audiology at “Hot Topics, Iced Coffee” (formerly known as Direct Access and Office Hours). This informal, relaxed atmosphere gives you the opportunity to pick the brains of some of audiology’s greatest. This year, we are lucky to welcome audiologists Dr. Bettie Borton, Dr. Juliette Sterkens, and Dr. Brian Fligor. Come to SAA Central, enjoy an iced coffee, and learn from some of audiology’s greatest! See your ProgramNOW! book for details.
  • Don’t forget to come check out the SAA Chapter slideshow – or better yet, participate in it! The SAA Chapter Slideshow gives you and your SAA chapter the opportunity to highlight all of your members and all of your chapter’s accomplishments from the past year! This year, the slideshow will be featured during the SAA Mix & Mingle and at SAA Central! In order to see your chapter featured, simply e-mail 5-10 slides featuring your chapter and members’ accomplishments over the year to Susan Von Dollen by March 12th! We look forward to seeing you in SAA Central.
