DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThe National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders projects that over 25 million Americans experience some form of tinnitus. Tinnitus is frequently reported by military personnel\, accounting for over $1 billion annually in disability compensation. The high burden and associated costs of tinnitus are considerable and can be challenging to address. The Academy Research Conference (ARC) 2025 will provide current research and insights into tinnitus as well as the multifactorial considerations needed for diagnosis and management.
