1. What is the most exciting thing you have learned so far in your AuD?
I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve learned about so far in my AuD program, so it’s difficult to pick just one thing! However, I’m always in awe of how much we’ve developed as a profession since its creation. I cannot wait to see how we continue to grow and adapt our current behavioral and objective measures to better treat our patients in the future.
2. What are your goals for SAA this year?
I’m incredibly excited to take over the Chapter and Member Relations Committee this year. In this position, I hope to increase involvement of SAA chapters with the national SAA organization, as well as increase undergraduate student involvement. I also look forward to working with my committee members to help SAA chapters across the country engage their members and recognize them for their accomplishments.
3. What advice would you give to current AuD students?
Look for opportunities wherever you can! This is truly what has shaped my experience in graduate school and allowed me to learn outside of the classroom.
4. Tell us a fun fact about you!
I moved around a lot as a kid, and lived in London, England for kindergarten and first grade.
