The Academy’s committees support the Academy’s vision, mission, and values to advance the profession of audiology. They are responsible for tactical implementation of activities that directly support the strategic priorities identified by the Board.

Committees report to councils and have a specific purpose and clearly defined objectives that will deliver specific outcomes for an Academy priority. They are expected to be in place at least for several years to perform ongoing work. The size of the committee will vary based on the committee work, but committee chairs and members will have explicit term limits. Committee work must be approved by the council before submission to the Academy board.
