Amanda Brown is a current fourth-year AuD student at Central Michigan University (CMU). She is currently a pediatric extern at Christus Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, Texas. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in speech-language and hearing sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition to serving as the State Ambassador Program chair, she was active in her local chapter as the previous president. Previously, she was the co-chair of the State Ambassador Program and the Michigan State ambassador. She is actively involved in Yunfang Zheng’s lab at CMU, studying the perceptual effects of high frequency hearing loss, venting, and fitting formulas. Her primary interests include research audiology, pediatric electrophysiology, vestibular, and hearing aid fittings. She is excited to work alongside her fellow program chairs and increase the awareness of audiology throughout the nation.
