Jacynda Gellhaus

Jacynda Gellhaus, MS, is South Dakota’s 2022-2023 SAA State Ambassador. Jacynda studied auditory and language neuroscience at Arizona State University where she received her master’s degree in 2021. She is currently involved with South Dakota’s Early Hearing and Detection Program where she has assisted in setting up and training professionals on how to complete tele-ABR’s. Jacynda will also be involved with the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program over the next year. Her areas of interest include pediatrics, cochlear implants (and other implantable devices), electrophysiology, and interdisciplinary work. Outside of audiology, you can find Jacynda traveling, hiking, teaching yoga classes, or playing with her dog, Murphy!
