Maryann Quigley is a third-year AuD student at the University of Iowa. She received her bachelor of arts degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences (SLHS) at the University of Connecticut in 2020. Throughout her time as an audiology student, Maryann has become interested in such clinical and research topics as hearing aid and cochlear implant services, hearing preservation, and tinnitus assessment and rehabilitation.
In 2022 and 2023, Maryann served as the Iowa State Ambassador for SAA, as well as the secretary of the University of Iowa’s local SAA chapter. Now, as a part of the SAA Board of Directors, she hopes to continue working towards the betterment of the field of audiology in conjunction with fellow board members and dedicated audiology students across the country.
