Megan Ostermann is a second-year Doctor of Audiology student at Idaho State University. She attended Boise State University for her undergraduate studies where she majored in English with an emphasis in Linguistics. During her time studying linguistics, Megan learned much about the production and usage aspects of language but often found herself wondering about the receptive side of communication. In her search for this missing piece, she was led to the profession of audiology. Megan’s clinical interests include cochlear implants and auditory evoked potential testing.

Megan is the current president of the Idaho State University (ISU) Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Chapter. In fulfilling her duties, she is responsible for maintaining communication between the ISU SAA Chapter and national SAA, representing ISU SAA at affiliated events, and hosting regular meetings to encourage and facilitate student involvement within the organization. In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, camping, crafts of all kinds, and any time spent with her friends.
