Ready to showcase your chapter’s contributions and earn national recognition? The National SAA Chapter Challenge is your chance to turn everyday advocacy, education, service, and fundraising into a friendly competition with SAA chapters across the country.

What's the Challenge?
Your SAA Chapter earns points by participating in activities across five key categories:
Education
Advocacy
Humanitarian
Fundraising
Inclusivity & Representation
Submit your activities using the Chapter Challenge Submission Form for each of the three scoring windows:
Challenge Period Activity Dates Submission Deadline
Period 1 March 10-October 5 October 7, 2026
Period 2 October 6-December 11 December 13, 2026
Period 3 December 12-March 15 March 17, 2027
Be sure to read the form instructions carefully and use the “notes” section to highlight your chapter’s creativity and contributions. Most all activities count—so don’t leave anything out!
What's at Stake?
NEW THIS YEAR! Chapters will be grouped into three (3) leagues -- the Outer Ear League, the Middle Ear League, and the Inner Ear League -- based on total chapter membership (graduate + undergraduate). The top scoring SAA chapter in each league will be crowned Chapter Challenge Champions and receive:
- A certificate of recognition from national SAA
- A spotlight feature on the SAA website and social media
- Recognition at the 2027 SAA Conference in St. Louis, Missouri
- A cash prize
