As a national member of the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA), you have access to a wealth of opportunities, including scholarships and grants through the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF). These financial resources are offered annually, and the application window for 2025 will open Monday, January 27.
The universal scholarship application is a streamlined process that allows you to apply for multiple scholarships with one application. This means there is no need to juggle separate applications for each scholarship!
Key Reminders:
- Start Early: Scholarships require a curriculum vitae (CV) and a personal statement, so give yourself plenty of time to prepare and edit your materials.
- Resume Review: The Academy’s Resume Review Service is an excellent resource to ensure your application stands out. Take advantage of it!
- Recommendation Rubric: Don’t forget that AAAF scholarship applications will require a recommendation from a clinical supervisor, mentor, or professor. Reach out to your mentor well in advance, and be sure to thank them for their support.
- Renew Your Membership: To remain eligible for these scholarships, as well as other member benefits, be sure to renew your national SAA membership for 2025!
We encourage you to apply and make the most of the scholarships and grants available to you!
