Michelle Wu is delighted to return for her third consecutive year volunteering with the national Student Academy of Audiology. She has happily served two terms as the State Ambassador for Missouri and cannot wait to undertake this new role on the Board of Directors as a member-at-large. Future clinical and research interests include musicians’ hearing health, vestibular studies, and hearing loss and aging in multilingual populations.
Michelle is a third-year AuD student, on the pediatric audiology elective track, in the Program in Audiology and Communication Sciences (PACS) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Michelle is the 2023-2024 third-year Class Representative for the WashU SAA chapter, in which she has also served as the fundraising chair and the first-year class representative. Outside of class and clinic, you can find her taking ballet lessons, trying new restaurants, or performing in a musical! Michelle studied communication sciences and disorders at James Madison University, where she earned her BA and BS. She is grateful for the support of her peers and mentors throughout the field of audiology.
