Abigale Millerbernd is a third-year AuD student at Nova Southeastern University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she grew up. After graduating in 2019, she moved to Boston to work at a d/Deaf school with children with disabilities, an experience that further fueled her passion for communication access and hearing health. These experiences, combined with her dedication to patient-centered care, led her to pursue graduate studies in audiology. Her clinical interests include pediatric audiology and aural rehabilitation. Outside of her studies, Abigale enjoys staying active, reading, and spending time with her cat.
