Alma Basco Martínez

Alma Basco Martínez is a second-year doctor of audiology student at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. She earned her bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras. Alma enjoys all aspects of audiology research, especially those related to the optimization of hearing health care. She hopes to one day advocate for accessible audiological care to underserved communities. As a State Ambassador for the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA), she aims to enhance the communication between the Puerto Rico SAA and other state chapters.
