Emily Shahar is a second-year Doctor of Audiology student at Indiana University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Indiana University, where she also pursued minors in American Sign Language and Healthy Aging. Her enthusiasm for Audiology began while observing in Indiana University’s Speech and Hearing Clinic, where she saw firsthand the profound impact audiologists can have on individuals. Emily’s clinical interests include adult and pediatric diagnostics, hearing aids, and cochlear implants. She is especially passionate about advocating for the d/Deaf community and enhancing her patients’ quality of life.
