Janna Hines Orr

Janna Hines Orr, AuD, is the 2024–2025 past president of the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA). She is originally from South Carolina and holds an associate’s degree in early care and education from Midlands Technical College (2017), as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in communication sciences and disorders from Georgia Southern University (2020). She recently graduated with a doctorate in audiology degree with a specialization in pediatrics from Washington University School of Medicine. Janna looks forward to starting her pediatric audiologist position at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Florida. In her free time, Janna loves reading, playing with her cat, Jambalaya Sam, and trying out new recipes with her husband. This year, she looks forward to exploring Florida and trying new hobbies, such as crocheting. She is also excited to keep working with audiology students, the national SAA, and the Academy.
