Mansi Roy

Mansi Roy is the 2022-2023 New York State Ambassador for the national Student Academy of Audiology (SAA). As a State Ambassador, she aims to strengthen ties between New York’s SAA chapters and foster communication between SAA chapters across the nation. Mansi is a current year doctor of audiology student at Hofstra University’s Long Island AuD Consortium, New York. She earned her bachelors in audiology and speech-language pathology at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing University of Mysore, India. Her area of interests include the assessment and management of cochlear implants, vestibular disorders in pediatric and adults, and also community awareness and outreach. Mansi is honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as the New York State Ambassador, and looks forward to working cooperatively with fellow SAA members to advance the audiology profession and experience SAA at a national level. Additionally, she hopes to boost SAA engagement in her community chapter and forge connections with other students and professionals throughout the nation! Outside of audiology, she enjoys sketching, painting, dancing, spending time with family, exploring locations and embarking on bike- based adventures.
