Throughout December 2018, our SAA chapter at Pacific University hosted a Noisy Toy Drive to collect donations for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. We also hosted a Noisy Toy Fair at the hospital on December 7, 2018 in order to raise awareness about hearing conservation and protection. We were able to share information with the community about the importance of carefully selecting certain toys, especially during the holiday season so that they do not pose a danger to one’s hearing. It was a successful event as well as a fun and educational experience for everyone involved!
