Students enrolled in an audiology-related doctoral program earning their first doctorate degree at a regionally accredited institution of higher learning or an undergraduate/post-
National SAA membership is not for individuals who have already earned their first doctoral degree and are otherwise eligible for Professional Member or International Member membership in the Academy.

National SAA Membership Has Its Benefits
The most valuable national SAA membership benefit is the student voice, heard through participation in national SAA and Academy strategic goals and activities. The national SAA provides additional member benefits that contribute to the student voice as well as the individual student member, advancing the rights, interests, and welfare for all pursuing careers in audiology.
National SAA Membership Dues
National SAA membership dues are $65.00 annually/$5.42 monthly*. Membership runs on a calendar year (January-December) with membership renewals due January 1 of each year.
Recent grads are eligible for the New Professional Pathway Program offering discounted membership dues for three years after graduation with a first doctoral degree in audiology. Scroll down to learn more!
National SAA membership dues are non-refundable except in instances when a pending or current member demonstrates an extenuating circumstance. To request a refund, fill out the Academy Membership Dues Refund Request Form within 30 days of payment unless you are enrolled in the Academy’s EZ Pay Program. Academy staff will contact you with a status update once a request has been received.

Recently Graduated? Take Advantage of the New Professional Pathway Program!
The Academy’s New Professional Pathway Program assists graduating national SAA members with transitioning their student membership in national SAA to new professional membership in the Academy. When current national SAA members graduate with their first doctoral degree in audiology, the Academy will automatically transition their membership to new professional membership when renewals are run for the upcoming membership year.
Additionally, as part of the New Professional Pathway Program, the Academy also offers new professional members a membership dues discount the three years following graduation with their first doctoral degree in audiology.
