As part of the Student Academy of Audiology’s (SAA) mental health virtual series, Kaitlyn Kennedy, AuD, hosted a session encompassing the topic of burnout. Dr. Kennedy is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She went to Missouri State for undergraduate and graduate school. She currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas and works at Texas Ear Clinic.
Dr. Kennedy covered several areas within this topic including, student burnout, new professional burnout, signs of burnout, and how to handle burnout. Dr. Kennedy also shared advice on how to maintain a healthy school/work/life balance.
