Membership Dues and Eligibility

Membership Dues

  • Annual Dues: $65 per year
  • Monthly Option: $5.42/month*
  • Membership follows the calendar year (January-December)
  • Applications are accepted anytime; dues are prorated June-August
  • Recent grads can save through the Academy's New Professional Pathway Program

*Monthly option requires enrollment in the Academy’s EZ Pay Program.

Refunds are only available in special cases. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of payment (unless enrolled in EZ Pay).

Eligibility

You are eligible for national SAA membership if you are:

  • A student in an audiology-related doctoral program, earning your first doctoral degree at a regionally accredited institution of higher learning;
  • An undergrad or post-baccalaureate student in a program related to audiology at a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.

Already earned your first doctoral degree? You may qualify for other membership options through the Academy.

New Professional Pathway Program

Graduating soon? The Academy’s New Professional Pathway Program makes your transition from student to professional member seamless.

When you earn your first doctoral degree in audiology, your student membership will automatically switch to new professional membership for the upcoming year—no extra steps needed!

Plus, new professional members get discounted dues for up to three years after graduation.
