Riya Antony

Riya Antony is a third-year audiology student at Nova Southeastern University. She received her bachelor’s degree in health and human sciences from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, in 2019. Her background in health sciences and her interest in technology is what led her to audiology, and she has been passionate about it ever since. Riya’s current professional interests include diagnostic pediatric and adult audiology and vestibular assessments.

Riya is currently the communication chair for the national SAA Board of Directors. She has prior experience serving as the treasurer of Nova Southeastern University’s SAA chapter from 2022-2023. Her goals this year include using social media platforms to connect and inform students about current issues pertaining to audiology. She is excited to be a part of the national organization after she enjoyed serving her local chapter. In her free time, Riya enjoys experimenting with cooking and hosting dinner parties, watching TV shows, and dancing.
